Arriving from the right edge of the beach of Azeda and through a short and simple stone path, you get to Azedinha, the younger sister of Azeda. It is an extremely small and charming beach. It is part of an environmental protection area. Of exuberant vegetation and rocky edges, it offers crystalline waters and a unique landscape.
Due to the existence of rock formations, it is possible to observe a kind of artificial pool. Being a protected beach there are no bars or barracks on it. You can find boats on the coast that offer drinks and rent beach equipment.
Its extension is approximately 50 meters and has some trees that protect against the sun. To reach Azedinha, you must walk along a rocky path, which offers no major difficulties, from the Azeda beach.
Another possible way to get there is through the use of the water taxi. In several beaches offer this service which offers the possibility to access the most hidden beaches of Búzios.
Its orientation towards the western cardinal point gives Azedinha a privileged view of the sunset.
Azedinha used to own services selling drinks and rustic and typical Búzios meals. But since it became an environmental protection area, the bars were removed. In any case, it is very common to find simple kiosks, like improvised boats that serve drinks or that also offer rental of chairs and umbrellas.
These spaces of rudimentary gastronomic services also coexist with street vending, typical of all the beaches of the village.
