Azeda Beach

Azeda Beach is located between the Ossos and João Fernandes beaches. Both Azedinha and Azeda are as part of an environmental protection area. Azeda is a small bay surrounded by rocky shores with vegetation. Facing to the west, Azeda offers wonderful sunsets.

It is accessed through a path and a stairway from the Ossos Beach. It offers calm and clear waters. On the right edge there is a path that leads to the Azedinha beach. As part of a protected area, there are no bars in Azeda. Nevertheless you will find boats on the coast offering drinks and beach equipment. Early arrival is recommended, especially in summer and holidays, since the movement is quite important and it becomes difficult to get a lot of sand.

On the beach there is an old colonial style mansion built in the early century. This is a traditional point of Búzios.
